Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using studiamo.cloud or any related services provided by Studiamo ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Studiamo provides AI-powered active recall flashcard generation, spaced repetition study scheduling, and learning analytics tools to assist users in mastering study materials.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account authentication credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:

• Submitting illegal, abusive, or infringing content.
• Attempting to bypass security mechanisms or API rate limits.
• Interfering with the proper functioning of the platform or server infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any study content, notes, or materials you upload. Studiamo retains all intellectual property rights in the software, algorithms, user interface, and branding of the Service.

By uploading any materials, you confirm that you hold all necessary copyright permissions and rights. You agree not to upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property. You are solely responsible for the materials you upload, and Studiamo is not liable for any copyright infringement or other claims arising from content you upload without the necessary rights.

If we receive a valid notice that uploaded content infringes someone's copyright, we will remove or disable access to that content.

6. YouTube API Services & Terms

Studiamo incorporates YouTube API Services to search educational video recommendations and display embedded video materials. By using any YouTube-related features within the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge that Google processes data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

7. AI-Generated Content & Accuracy Disclaimer

Studiamo utilizes Google Gemini generative artificial intelligence to synthesize study materials, generate active recall questions, summarize video outlines, and provide factual comparison insights. All AI-generated outputs are provided solely for educational and self-study assistance. While prompts are designed to promote high accuracy, artificial intelligence systems may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. You are encouraged to exercise critical judgment and cross-reference important academic, scientific, or domain concepts with authoritative primary sources.

8. Subscriptions, Pricing and Billing

Studiamo Cloud is offered as a monthly subscription at $7.99 per month, inclusive of any applicable sales tax or VAT. Prices are charged in US dollars regardless of your location; your bank may apply its own currency conversion.

• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. There is no minimum contract term.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no partial-month refunds are issued for that remaining period.
• Promotional pricing. A discount code may reduce the price for a stated number of months. When that period ends, the standard price of $7.99 per month applies automatically. The duration is shown before you complete the purchase.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it and will notify you. Access may be suspended if payment cannot be collected.
• Price changes. We may change the price of future subscription periods. You will be notified in advance and may cancel before any new price takes effect.

9. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC, 354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. This means Lemon Squeezy is the seller for the transaction, issues your invoice, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax and VAT. Their name may appear on your bank or card statement rather than ours.

Studiamo does not receive or store your payment card details at any point.

10. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise this right, inform us of your decision by a clear statement sent to [email protected]. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.

Because access to the Service begins immediately on purchase, you expressly request that performance start during the withdrawal period. If you then withdraw, you must pay an amount proportionate to the Service already provided up to the point you informed us, and we will refund the remainder within 14 days using the same means of payment.
